from the start

so how little Thea will come to be, I was 15 years old at school and just moved to a new class group,
it was in the science lab where our form had to meet every morning and afternoon before starting lessons and to take the register, as I walked through the doors on the first day of my new form I clocked some friends across the other side of the lab ,as I walked towards them with every intention of talking right through what ever the teacher was talking about I noticed a girl who I’ve seen around a few times, a little tall which was great as I am to, long brown hair and a smile which is beaming although every time she laughs she tries to force her lips shut which just makes me smile even more she’s perfect so instead of going to my mates I went and sat next to her probley quite awkwardly and with that she looked at me and just moved so I just was left feeling pretty disappointed in front of some gas taps. luckily for me we had the same food tech class which I just so happened to be on the same table as her , every lesson id conveniently lose my pen so I had to borrow one from her which was a good way to get talking and after a while we became friends and our friends became friends and that was it our groups formed and to this day we have holidayed together and keep in contact with some regularly but all have came to our wedding and party’s and all will remain friends. we all started drinking and smoking and generally doing what we shouldn’t like most teens, I would throw house party’s most weekends when my mum was at her boyfriends. me and kayley grew closer and closer and before long we were meeting everyday on the field near mine or down the moors where one of us would sneak out a beer or two from our parents stash. eventually I grew the courage to ask her out and we kissed for the first time in the rain on one of those green phone line boxes on the corner of the street it was great I suddenly felt like I was the luckiest man in the world and she was the only women in the world as time went on we met each others family’s and became pretty comftable with them we both lost our v plates to each other and both went on holidays with friends and alone to all different places and moved out at 19 into our first little flat. which looking back now was  a complete mess but at the time it was perfect we were both working hard to pay bills and save for holidays etc. which is a lot for a 19 year old to comprehend but this girl made it possible. I proposed to her in front of all our friends and family on my birthday and we saved up for our wedding it was nothing big and fancy just a small local church and a community centre hall but everyone was there family and friends even friends from that very first day I met her in the science lab. it was perfect we have come so far and we finally made the ultimate commitment to each other and to top it of along side our little wedding we had a BIG honey moon to new York city los Angeles and las Vegas my dream trip it was amazing we had the best times of our lives and saw some amazing things il never forget our hotel in nyc at the Lexington two balcony’s on top floor overlooking the streets of nyc with the Chrysler building looking down on us from the left it was magical we stood there with a bottle of champagne on the balcony with the sounds of millions of people rushing around which felt like a mile below us and sirens going of in every direction but as I sipped on my drink I was watching her thinking that’s the girl that leant me pens in food tech when I was 15 that’s the girl that has giving me the most amazing life I thought to myself “how in the world have I got so lucky?”.

so after our honey moon we come home to our very own brought house ,well mortgaged house, with 2 spare bedrooms waiting to be filled and just like that just before we are about to leave for a party I hear kayley crying almost sobbing up stairs so fearing the worst I go up and ask what’s the matter thinking she’s heard some bad news or something as she opens the bathroom door that same beaming smile that I love from years before was on her face and she was holding a pregnancy test I knew straight away and held her harder than I ever have and just said I love you Im not the type of bloke who shows tears but this time I couldn’t hold it in I was sobbing like a little girl too.
unlike most couples who wait until the first scan to announce it we bounced into the party and told every body which I know is the wrong thing to do but we were to excited to wait. we have never been the most paitent people. perhaps that’s what drove us to have so much at such a young age.

so that’s it now we are waiting on Thea to come along and send us on our next journey our biggest one yet I’ve done the nursery up we have everything in place and couldn’t be more ready.
