Babs loves the word “again.”  Whether I’m juggling, jumping rope, or watching a web video with her, as soon as I finish, Babs says “again.”  And I do it.  Again.

Well, a few days ago, Babs asked us, particularly Baby Tommy, to repeat the impossible…

Babs and Tommy were taking a bath together.  Tommy was laying in his own personal bathtub, which was inside the bathtub.  That’s how he rolls.  And bathes.

Everybody was laughing, smiling, and singing, and then something miraculous happened.

Use this image only as a reference. Tommy's arch was higher, and his stream was stronger.

Baby Tommy, lying on his back, started to pee, creating a perfect arch of urine, not unlike the Arch of St. Louis.

For about five seconds, he continued this inconceivable, yet incredible stream, combining the strength of a waterfall, and the grace of historic fountain.  I wanted to start throwing dimes and quarters in the bathtub while making wishes.

Babs’ face lit up as she was watching, and luckily she was sitting behind Baby Tommy, so was not in the range of this newly recognized national monument.

Once the 8th wonder of the world concluded, Babs looked as Lucy and I, and with a big smile said, “Again!”

Unfortunately, baby Tommy does not take requests at this time, so he did not do it again.  Babs is persistent though, and she repeated, “Again, again, again.”

After explaining he couldn’t do it again, Lucy found a toy whale we had in the bathtub, and with that we were able to suck in water, and release in the same spirit as my son’s display.

But the results were nowhere close.  It may be another century before we see a urination display like his…again.
