About Tommy Riles

Tom Riles is a husband, father, and original founder of Life of Dad, the largest community of dads in the world. Riles is also the long-time audience warm-up comedian for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in addition to hundreds of other TV shows in Los Angeles. Not the Baby Anymore

Babs is currently checking in at 7.5 months (Holy crap!).  In those 7.5 months, we have at least five other friends that have had kiddos.  Shout out to the Lazarz, Wood, Sorich, Kunka, and Guest families!  This means that my baby is not the baby anymore.  I’ve been aware that [...]

Daddy Dundee: The Escalator

Remember the scene from Crocodile Dundee when Paul Hogan was riding an escalator for the first time? He was confused and scared, not knowing if he would make it out of the situation alive. In a more modern film, Will Ferrell was equally confused when taking an escalator in Elf. [...]

Lunch with a 7 Month Old

Babs Meet Buehrle

I grew up dreaming of meeting a baseball player someday.  Every year my dad took me to Shea Stadium to see the Mets play.  We enjoyed going for doubleheaders, which meant over eight hours of baseball and batting practice.  I loved every second of it.  At a young [...]
