A few weeks back, I traveled to Orlando for Ellen’s Spring Break Shows at “Universal Orlando Resort.”

Vegas, Baby, Vegas!

We have been taking this trip for years, and for the first time, I was able to bring along my wife and baby girl!

Babs is 13 months old, and we may have been slightly ambitious thinking she would make it all the way from Burbank to Orlando with a layover in Vegas.

Add in the fact that Orlando was experiencing terrible weather, a two hour flight delay, and an hour on the tarmac after we landed…this could have been an extremely challenging day.

However, Babs did what she always does, and became awesome.  Here are the top ten awesome things she did that day.

10.  Ate cheerios while taking off and landing to avoid baby ear popping

9.  Hung out in the Baby Bjorn whenever we asked her to

8.  Ate fruit that I cut into pieces with my teeth (no knives on planes)

7.  Drank water only during the 5 hour flight, when we wrongly assumed they would have whole milk on the plane

6.  Danced whenever I sang “Dynamite” by Taio Cruz

5.  Walked up and down the aisle on the plane saying “Hi” to everybody

4.  Took a long nap on her mama’s chest during the flight

3.  Stayed relatively still while I changed her “poopy” en route

2.  Didn’t vomit (like I did the first time I was on a plane)

1.  Stared at slot machines and บาคาร่า for two hours, during a layover in Vegas.

What does this all mean?  She’s awesome.

Jackpot!
