When these two girls recognized someone they know from Moana, they called him out on it. The amazing Costco employee, Will Vaana (who has the long hair, the Polynesian tattoos and everything) could have gone two ways with this. He could have politely corrected them and then went about his day, but instead he did much more and became Costco Maui.

And We Thought The Samples Were Cool
Inviting the girls over to his side of the aisle, they gave a collective “CHEE-HOO!!” It’s a phrase of Samoan origin that is basically a Hawaiian “WooHOO!!!!” Anyone with some kids knows immediately that it’s something Maui yells in the movie. So if you’re heading to the Costco in Kapolei, Oahu keep your eyes out for Maui, because this guy is just as magical as the character. Will has even done kids parties as the character and has the hook to show for it. Not big on the internet, Will woke up after this video was posted to find out that he became a celebrity of sorts, overnight.
So instead of getting disappointment when they spotted Costco Maui, these awesome girls received something they will remember forever. Nice job Will. We hope your employer takes note.
