Hey, isn't that the guy from "Life of Dad?"

Last week I saw Michelle Obama and Taylor Swift live, and dressed as Woody from Toy Story.  Just another three days at The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Because I can, every now and then I will give you all a behind the scenes look at Ellen.  You cool with that?  We will divide this entry into three categories.

COUNTRY

Michelle Obama and Jill Biden appeared on Ellen this past Tuesday.  The Secret Service was scouting the building for weeks leading up to this.  We have had Barack Obama on, but it was before he was in office.  We had Laura Bush on, but it was after W left office.  This was the first time Ellen has had a current President, or First Lady on the show.  A pretty big deal!  Just a few hours before the show, the studio was cleared, and the dogs and search team came in to make sure everything was safe.

Obama and Biden chatted with Ellen about military families and veterans that were in the audience.  Because there were so many heroes, Ellen gave the entire crowd tickets to her 12 Days of Giveaways.   Pandemonium ensued.  The wives of the President and VP said goodbye, and then the studio went into lockdown until they had left Warner Bros.  It was a great show, and the Secret Service does an incredible job protecting our leaders.

MUSIC

Taylor Swift sang three songs on our show last Thursday, the day she released her new album.  Every female in my family is obsessed with T Swift, so I may be a hero just for having been there.  Taylor rocked during rehearsal, and was even better during the show, which is airing today (Monday).  She even sang a bonus song to the audience after the show.  The people love her.  Is she really dating Jake Gylenhall?  OMG!

COWBOY

Friday was Ellen’s Halloween Show, and I dressed as Woody from Toy Story.  I have his build.  I have his mannerisms.  I am Woody.  What you do not see in the picture is that I had a pull-string attached to my back, consisting of shoe lace, and the cover to a “Wet Ones” container.  My belt buckle was a larger cover to a “Wet Ones” container.  Stay classy, Woody.

Ellen’s Halloween Show is always a blast, and the winner of our audience costume contest was a woman dressed as a box of tampons.  Everybody was thinking about that costume this year, but she was the only one that actually did it.

Babs’ first Halloween story coming to you tomorrow.
