Chris Nichols presents “Buffalo Chicken Pizza Sammies with Potato Puffs”

The dish I’ve created for the championship combines three of the most popular foods eaten at sports viewing parties; pizza, buffalo chicken, and fries/tater tots. When I sat down and tried to decide what I would want to eat at a March Madness party this is what I came up with.

Amy Schwarzott presents “Angry Buffalo Chicken on the Court”

I wanted to create a recipe that stays true to the best aspects of frozen food; convenience and taste! Why use was a frozen food recipe that takes just as long to prepare as an unfrozen one? So my 3 all star players became Red Baron Singles French Bread 5 Cheese and garlic pizza, Tyson Buffalo Style Chicken Strips and TGIFridays Spinach and Artichoke Dip! Inspired by my home town Buffalo, NY and a local sub called “Chicken in the Grass” I created a game time favorite that goes from freezer to table in 10 MINUTES! No need to preheat your oven this entire meal is microwavable so you can get to your sofa in time for tip-off! It works well as either a meal for two or an appetizer for many…The Angry Buffalo Chicken on the Court is an epic creation that is worthy of the title of Champion!

Debbie Reid presents “Three Point Wraps”

This wrap is called the Three Point Wrap because it incorporates three game day favorites.  Honey BBQ Chicken Strips, fried pickle chips with horseradish sauce and French fries with cheese and bacon.   When I make these wraps, I start out with a large burrito-sized flour tortilla, place one to two chicken strips down the center of the tortilla (depending on the size of the chicken strip), top the chicken with 3 – 4 fried pickles, then a drizzle of the horseradish sauce.  I then top it with 6 – 8 French fries, a heaping spoonful or two of cheese sauce, then about 2 tablespoons crumbled bacon.  Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll it up.  Cut on a diagonal it makes two servings or one hearty serving!
