My daughter is currently a sponge.  Anything I can say, she can say worse.

She tries, but it just doesn’t always come out right, because she’s only two.

However, every now and then, she annunciates a new word perfectly, and today was one of those days.

Our family of five was taking a walk, and we started walking through some mud.  My lovely wife yelled out “Oh $#*!” as we all collectively stepped into it.

Well, over the next four minutes, Babs said.

“Oh $#*!”

“Oh $#*!”

“Oh $#*!”

“Oh $#*!”

“Oh $#*!”

“Oh $#*!”

And on, and on, and on.  And she pronounced it perfectly.  Great modern English, no baby accent at all.

Well…I guess it’s good that she didn’t say “mother f#*@er.”

What was your kids’ first curse word, and how did he or she learn it?
