We went to the Halloween Harvest Festival in Woodland Hills on Saturday, and guess who was there? Kevin Federline…Britney Spears’ ex-husband. Welcome to Life of Dad: Los Angeles.
As I was looking for a parking spot, I thought I saw somebody doing the K-Fed strut. I got a little bit closer, and yep, it was him. Wearing a Yankees hat, big shorts, and a polo. We were at the same pumpkin patch as K-Fed!
It’s ironic that we ran into him, because whenever I am put into a peculiar situation, I say to myself, “What would K-Fed do?” This thinking does not alter my decision making at all…to be honest I have no idea why I think it, and I wish I didn’t. But I do, so there.
Here are two situations that evolved on Saturday at the pumpkin patch. I will share how I handled the situation, and what I believe K-Fed would have done.
Situation 1: As we arrived at the festival, Lucy and I both realized that we had forgotten Babs’ bottle. She was going to get hungry at some point…
What did I do? I drove home through traffic, and finally got back to my ladies as Babs was getting cranky…well worth the trip, so my baby was comfortable.
What would K-Fed do? Probably the same, but while snacking on Benjamins, and listening to his rap song, “Lose Control.”
Situation 2: When standing in line for lunch, I couldn’t decide if I wanted “chicken on a stick,” or a “turkey leg.” Both fine options…
What did I do? I went with “chicken on a stick.” I think I made the right choice, too.
What would K-Fed do? He would have gotten both, because that’s how K-Fed rolls.
Today, whenever you have to make a decision, whether be it at work or at home, pause for a second, and ask yourself…What would K-Fed do?
Please share if K-Fed helped make your day better, and how.
