Noisettes

I can’t tell if the Noisettes are best described as a throwback 60’s Girl Pop mixed with Punk and Soul, or a Soul Punk group with Dance-Pop-Rock leanings. My favorite thing about them is no matter which category you want to put them in, they kill. Not only that, but they’ve been described as one of the best live shows in England and I would love to see them perform sometime over here in the US. Led by frontwoman Shingai Shoniwa, her voice alternates from deep soulfullness, to pop bubble and rock explosiveness with ease. If they aren’t on your radar by now, make sure you give them a listen. Few bands are as all around exciting as they are.
