Cass McCombs is one of the artists that I always love when I listen to him and then for some reason always forget to add to playlists. Maybe it’s just that his super under the radar, low-fi music can be the perfect background music that you know is there, but don’t have to really tune in for. But when you do tune in, the music that was merely pretty good, becomes great. With a great blend of rock, folk and alt-country with hints of jazzy bluegrass (is that a thing?) Cass McCombs’ music is great to pair every mood, which is a hard thing to accomplish. Get him on your radar if he’s not already.
