Dead Sara

I’ve covered a few hard rock bands on Playlist Elevated, but none that are quite as tight and exciting as Dead Sara. The bands potent sound comes from a combination of bluesy rock, hints of country depth and the angry wailing of metal punk. Their songs can fire you up like you’re listening to Wolfmother, or have you reflect passively on life as they dive into Heart-like balladry. Some of their newer songs even have a more accessible dance vibe to them. They are a great driving band and I’d love to see them live (Sept 7 in Austin…. If you’re reading this Emily Armstrong, I’m not above accepting tickets.) Give your playlists a good kick in the dick with Dead Sara.
