I love it when I’m introduced to a new artist, and then discover that they have hundreds of millions of listens on Spotify. So really, I was the one missing out. That’s the case with LP (Thanks Bianca!), a singer/songwriter from Brooklyn, who got her start in LA. LP is the stage name of Laura Pergolizzi, who has one of the most unique and versatile voices I’ve heard in a long time. It’s like someone took Stevie Nicks’ warble and blended her with Karen O’s baddassery. Apparently she’s huge in Mexico and some European countries, but it’s a tragedy that she’s not as well known here. Obviously this article and my ravenous fans will change that. There are dozens of us….. DOZENS!!!
