Light Light

Light Light is the Dutch, Indie Rock supergroup that you knew, deep down inside, had been missing in your life. With members from Blue Crime, Havens and zZz, the band unfortunately only recorded one, pretty excellent album in 2013. Their brand of electro-pop sounds range from mid-80’sesque pop, to an airy blend of melancholy and low-fi dream-rock reminiscent of the late 90’s. They also had one of the better videos I’ve seen in awhile, creating a website that records cursor movements, making it an interactive experience. Nothing indicates that the band has actually split, so maybe after a 6 year hiatus we’ll see some more magic from this collective.
