INTRODUCING YOU TO BANDS YOU MIGHT  NOT KNOW, BUT TOTALLY SHOULD.

Ralph Vaughan Williams

No matter how much I love rock, punk, indie, rap and everything in between, the genre I can rely on most to thoroughly immerse myself into is Classical. Countdown the number of times you’ve cursed the radio for playing the same songs over and over again and ask yourself why you might never have found your Classical station as an alternative. For this week, I’m focusing on one of my favorite composers because of the peaceful, almost cathartic music he produced. This canon of beautiful melodies always seems to clear my head and bring me to a thoughtful and clear place. Foray into Classical with Williams (if you want peaceful), Mozart or Holst (more exciting) or any other of the thousands of composers with different styles and you’ll find yourself hooked. Home base for your go-to radio station will soon be the Classical one, and you’ll find yourself a happier person for it. That’s if you want to add a touch of culture to your day. Sad for you if you don’t.
