DC Public Schools issued a new FAQ regarding their proposed changes for the new school year which will, in their own words “shift from special education coordinators (SECs) to school psychologists for oversight of specialized support at the local school level next year.” On our show today, we will discuss this new FAQ as we continue to review these changes and understand how they will affect education of our children with disabilities.
