Hosted by Tom Riles, and featuring ‘Celebrity Clue Master’ Jerry Springer, Baby or Daddy, answers the universal question… “Who is a bigger baby…A Baby or a Daddy?”
LOS ANGELES, August 2nd 2011 – LifeofDad.com makes room for the entire family as Baby or Daddy kicks off on Wednesday, August 3rd, with an all-new episodes following each the next three consecutive months. Tom Riles (The Real Housedads of Orange County, The Ellen DeGeneres Show) hosts this frosh season, along with the help of television veteran, Jerry Springer. Produced by Life of Dad and the Internet, Baby or Daddy will offer viewers brain twisters, laughs, awkward moments, and more.
“We know that our viewers are experiencing many Baby or Daddy moments at home with their own families,” said David Guest, Life of Dad’s President of Original Programming and Production. “So it made perfect sense to bring this show to a worldwide audience, thanks to Al Gore, the inventor of the Internet.”
Celebrity Clue Master, Jerry Springer
Baby or Daddy features a live studio audience, cheesy sound effects, and a real life contestant trying to solve the unending mystery, “Who is the bigger baby…A Baby or a Daddy?” The contestants are guided by the wisdom and hints of ‘Celebrity Clue Master,’ Jerry Springer. A television legend, Jerry Springer has appeared for over twenty years on The Jerry Springer Show, as well as captivating audiences more recently on GSN’s hit game show, Baggage. “It was an honor and privilege to again team up with Jerry Springer, and he proved to be a complete pro at reading clues which probably made no sense to him whatsoever,” said David Guest.
With no real prize budget, contestants leave Baby or Daddy uncertain of whether they won or not. Confusing the contestants on how exactly to “win this game,” host, Tom Riles, often forgets to keep track of the number of questions the contestants answered correctly.
Filmed at Saticoy Studios, in Van Nuys, California, audience members were asked after the first live taping what they thought of the show. There were a range of opinions including, “there goes an hour I’ll never get back,” “I love Jerry Springer, but who was that lanky host,” and “they consider that a TV show?”
