The morning after the Primetime Emmy Awards, in a small condo in Studio City, the Baby Emmy Awards took place.
Babs is the only judge, and here is the complete list of winners.
Comedy Series: Sesame Street
Not traditionally a full-blown comedy, Babs will laugh sometimes at the most ridiculous parts, including when Snuffy tries to sing. “The Wiggles” was in the running, until Babs’ parents stopped DVRing this show, as it became a tad bit annoying.
Drama Series: Sesame Street
Not traditionally a full-blown drama, at moments Babs will stand inches away from the television, intrigued by every move the characters make.
Lead Actor: Elmo, Sesame Street
Babs lives, breathes, and drinks Elmo. She even brushes her teeth with an Elmo toothbrush. With Elmo being one of her first words, it was a no-brainer that the red dude picks up this award.
Lead Actress: Juliana Margulies, The Good Wife
With a performance that transcends all generations, Margulies just beat out the heavily favored Abby, from Sesame Street. When Margulies took the stage, the producers were mistakingly playing “Elmo’s song.” Awkward.
There were more awards scheduled, but then our judge got tired, and had to go down for a nap. Congratulations to all of the winners!
