Jeff DeVaul-Fetters: Any national park! Cheap and they’ll learn more being outdoors than in a traditional amusement park!

Erik Justo: Anything not involving electronics.

Lue Lee: Camping because my kids need to layoff the phones and tablets for a weekend.

Joseph Cascio: Camping with no wifi or devices. Learn how to build a fire, fish, cook, sing along, and spend time with your family. Make sure to bring Night Buddy Headlamps for your light at night.

Mark Brislin: Taking my son to Fenway Park for his first baseball game. I love baseball and I hope he likes it too.

Guido Urzua Jr: An all-inclusive resort with entertainment. Very easy.

Jason Callon: Any good ski resort. Our kids love to ski almost as much as we do!

Breno Peck: Beach Park. It’s always summer, it’s always wet, it’s always fun, and there’s an actual beach outside. Water sports, like watertubing ny, are always great to beat the summer heat. Hotels like Laguna Beach hotel is a great place to stay at because of the good weather all year round.

Kara Lin: My kids and I got hooked on Geocaching. A lot are hidden around historic areas so you not only find treasures to keep and share but learn as well.

Byron Forrest: I just took my family to Washington dc and we all had a blast. Best vacation I’ve been on in years because there are a lot of cool museums and monuments, they are all free of charge! Lots of history which I love so that made it more awesome!

Johnny Hampton: A Carnival Cruise because they are affordable they’re fun and you get the visit different countries. Also all your room and board and food and fun on ship is included in your ticket price (with the exception of alcohol, sodas and gambling). The food is great breakfast lunch dinner midnight snack — it’s all great!

And another vote for Carnival from Jonathan Hennessy: The kids love Camp Carnival. It’s hard to pull them away from it. So it becomes a good family vacation with some good adult time.

Jonathan William Sharp II: The Highlands of Scotland. Nothing like hiking around the lochs or fighting the winds of Skye. I believe that’s the actually site of Eden.

Josh Woytko: Grand Teton National Park. We go every year. It’s great for kids with a lot of outdoor activities and educational spots. And… It’s incredibly beautiful. Early to mid June is the best time because there are baby animals around, and you only need a light jacket. You could also check here now and plan a trip to Panama City.

Louis Long: The Atlantis in the Bahamas is great for kids. Pools, slides, all the sea life in the aquarium. I also agree I the cruise idea, there’s a lot to do and you get to visit different places. We go on one every winter when they are cheap. Ship Cove in Australia is also the best part of Queen Charlotte day track.

Winter Cielencki: I’d take my kids back to my home state and take them to some of the state parks, Mt. Hood or one of the many beaches (lived in Oregon until I was 11).
