WOW! How is your bracket doing? Are you ticked that you didn’t pick 14 seed Mercer over the heavily favored Duke Blue Devils? Well rest assured only a select few saw that one coming. There were even more upsets besides the Mercer/Duke game.
How about Dayton? You know the other team from Ohio that knocked off the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Dayton Flyers even took it to Syracuse and beat them over the weekend as well to make it into the Sweet 16. The Flyers will now take on Stanford this week.
Other teams did “uphold” their end of the bracket bargain by winning their couple of games over the weekend. The number one seed from the West bracket, the Arizona Wildcats are in the Sweet 16 too. The beat Gonzaga in the second round this past weekend.
“That Arizona team we saw tonight was as good a team as we have faced, that I can remember,” Gonzaga coach Mark Few said. “It was just too much for us tonight.”
Arizona had a scary NCAA tournament opener where they had a close game against 16 seeded Weber State. Thankfully for me and other people’s brackets they held on to win the game and stay alive in the tournament.

For me even though they lost the game, the dunk that Wichita State’s Cleanthony Early had in his team’s game against Kentucky was pretty sick!
