This week, Tommy Riles and Art Eddy talk about Father’s Day and the #FirstCarMoment campaign with Michelin Tires. On Wednesday, June 24th, Life of Dad presents a #FirstCarMoment Twitter Party sponsored by @MichelinUSA.
Getting a first car is an unforgettable milestone in any person’s life. We all have great memories associated with our first car. How it gave us new freedom and independence and took us on some great adventures. The guys here at @LifeofDadShow along with the good folks at @MichelinUSA want to help you learn a few tips and tricks about staying safe on the road this summer.
The guys then bring on actor extraordinaire, George Wendt. When you think of George Wendt and sitcoms, you immediately think of him sitting in a bar where everybody knows your name. “Cheers” was a smash hit back in the 1980’s, and Wendt is still showing that he has what it takes to be in sitcoms. George joins a young and funny cast in the hit show, “Clipped” on TBS.
“Clipped” centers on a group of barbershop coworkers who all went to high school together but ran in very different crowds. Now they find themselves working together at Buzzy’s. The namesake of the shop belongs to George Wendt’s character. He sold the shop, but asked to keep his chair.
We speak with George about the new show, fatherhood, beer, and even asked him to reprise one of his famous “Saturday Night Live” characters.
