Official Transcript from Life of Dad webshow premiere press conference.

Thursday, April 22nd

5:32 PM

Life of Dad creator and star Tom Riles took the stage with his daughter Barbara Anne.  Babs slept through the entire conference.

5:33 PM

Riles made his opening statements.  Network executives in the audience were drooling upon every word.  Everybody wants an exclusive holding deal with this new show/blog.

5:34 PM

Riles introduced the cast of Life of Dad including Barbara Anne and BoJangles.  Riles’ wife Lucy was unavailable at the moment, due to a prior commitment at Bally’s.  Bo reached up just high enough to be caught on camera, while enjoying his treat.  As part of his bucket list ( http://facebook.com/bojanglesbucketlist ), this was his first appearance on television.

5:36 PM

The floor was opened up for questions.  Due to the viewers needing to read/watch something else on the internet, only three of the questions were aired.  Below are the rest of them.

Question:  The baby is asleep, what is she dreaming of?

Riles:  Plums.  Not Sugar Plums.  Just plums.  Ripened plums.

Question:  Where will the show be aired?

Riles:  On the web.  Go to https://www.lifeofdad.com for all of the episodes and blog entries.

Question:  Why did you decide to do this show?

Riles:  Well, I got an offer to play on the Jets, but I feel more at home here.  Playing on Life of Dad already feels like family.

Question:  Have you been getting sleep?

Riles:  I’ve been getting too much sleep, so I needed a new hobby.  I just bought a metal detector, and will be combing the beaches for valuables nights, from 10-midnight now.  It relaxes me.

Question:  Do you think Brett Favre will play this season?

Riles:  I’m not a liberty to say what I know, but I will say if he is looking for a new team, we would love to bring him on as the clip coordinator for Life of Dad.

5:55PM

The press conference concluded, and Riles, Barbara Anne and BoJangles had a photo op, with their new Life of Dad jersey.

New 17 year contract with "Life of Dad."
