Still, every now and then a band whose name stirs curiosity, backs it up with killer new music that re-invents and blends genres. Hard to do when every band out there attempts to Frankenstein songs from disparate influences. Without letting one genre overpower the others, White Mom blends punk, ethereal fuzz and pure rock into some fantastic tracks that are both exciting and lyrically provocative.
