Who’s up for 18 holes?
“Hello….? Hello…?….Is this thing on?”
Oh, “Hi”. This is just a quick note letting everyone know who I am. My name is Kevin ‘Spike’ Zelenka, and I am a Stay at Home Dad. Wow, I feel like I’m in front of a support group with an introduction like that. There are actually some days that I need a support group. You see, I’m not just a stay at home dad; I’m the stay at home dad of 13 month old twin boys!
Now that I think I have your attention, a little history. I’m in my mid 40’s and my wife and I tried several times to add to our family of the two us and a dog. After years of trying, several miscarriages,and a little help from the world of IVF we were lucky enough to be blessed with not one, but two bundles of joy. Things have been interesting from the beginning, to say the least, and I’ll back pedal later to fill you in on some of that. Right now I’m going to entertain you with the goings on in our home with the weekly trials and tribulations of dealing with 2 smarter than average bears.. oops, I meant boys.
So sit back. Relax. Grab a cup of milk and tray full of cheerios, and enjoy the ride. I can’t guarantee a smooth one, but it’ll be an adventure for sure!
