Dear Kids,

At school you are learning algebra, science and history. Some of bigger lessons take place in the hallways and at lunch. Those lessons are how to be friends, how to not be friends, what to say, what not to say etc.

Always know the “Power of Words”. What you say to someone can make their day. Or it can ruin their day. Your words let others know how much or how little you care about them. Your words are a reflection of you more than your hair, clothes and jewelry.

What you say to yourself can give you confidence or make you more scared. Your own words (thoughts) can make you happy or sad. Your words can make you a better person.

So choose your words wisely. Choose your words kindly. Fill your head with positive thoughts. Fill your heart with kind thoughts. At the end of the day others will judge you based on what you say and how you say it. So “say it” with kindness, confidence and love.

Love Dad
