During premiere week of “The Real Housedads of Orange County,” each day we will feature a different cast member, so we can learn even more about what makes a housedad tick.

The Count

What is your full name?

The Count

Where did you grow up?

The Hamptons

What made you want to be on “The Real Housedads of Orange County?”

It’s been a great progression from my childhood, to be honest.  Starting out as a child model for the discount department store, Zayre (later acquired by TJ Maxx), I rapidly moved into very elite circles of friends and close confidants, among them being my good friend Jacques de la Cruz.  He asked me to be on the show and I thought it to be such a timely move on my part, especially with the introduction of my new book Class with the Count: How to Live with Elegance and Flair and Wine and Money and Attitude and Panache and a Big Estate in the Cayman Islands.  I also plan on introducing a new line of what I call “Daddy Bling”, which will be the latest trend in watches, chains, medals & pins for dads.  What a great opportunity it will be for me to launch this line on the show.

What is one thing about you that nobody else knows?

I really don’t have a line of “Daddy Bling”.  I don’t even wear a watch.

What does money mean to you?

Not a whole lot.  That’s why I spend, spend, spend.  I can do without it because by not having it, it means I would have spent it on a new mansion or a nice bottle of wine.  Who wants to just see their money grow (or shrink, in this market) in some savings or 401(k) account?  But I need money to spend on those things, so money means a lot.

Favorite TV Show?

British Parliament on CSPAN2.

Tell us about your family.

My title is not actually an official title bestowed from France, rather one I gained through marriage to my beautiful wife of 2 years.  She is a descendant of some rather important Frenchman, and that’s all I know…but I really am The Count.  We have been blessed with two boys who I will bestow all my wisdom to in the coming years, most of which has been already published in my book Class with the Count: How to Live with Elegance and Flair and Wine and Money and Attitude and Panache and a Big Estate in the Cayman Islands.

You’re really focused on this book aren’t you?

I don’t care to over-market myself, of course, so I won’t drop any more hints about the book.  Outside of that project, I am focused on Americans focusing their “Target” on the “Borders” this country shares with its neighbors as well as the deforestation around the “Amazon”.  In addition, I’d like for people to move out of their “Barnes & (be) Noble” about moving into the city.

Who is your favorite Count in history?

It’s a toss-up between Count Chocula & The Count from Sesame Street.
