LeVar Burton

As a kid one of my favorite shows growing up was Reading Rainbow. Whether I was watching the program at home or in school, Reading Rainbow got me excited about reading. One reason that I loved the show was because of the host LeVar Burton. His passion and love for reading was contagious. My classmates and I couldn’t wait to learn about a new book that he presented on the show.

Besides Reading Rainbow LeVar is an outstanding actor, producer, and director. From films and shows like Roots, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and shows now like Perception Burton is always busy. I had the great pleasure of chatting with LeVar about fatherhood.

Ernie Hudson is one of the most sought-after actors with an impressive list of credits and awards whose body of work has diverse range. He is a beloved star in film, television and stage, long considered one of Hollywood’s iconic working actors.

In his early years, Hudson served in the Marine Corps and then moved to Detroit, Michigan. Hudson first met Ivan Reitman on Spacehunters. It wasn’t long before he was asked to join Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis in the 1984 feature film Ghostbusters gained fame playing ‘Winston Zeddemore.’ The 1989 sequel, Ghostbusters 2, cemented his stardom as both films ultimately became two absolute fan favorite blockbuster films.
